Buyout

Partnering with management teams and other shareholders, we help companies develop strategy, plan and realize optimal financing structures and hire top professionals.
PEF VIII invested in Anwim in 2018, obtaining a significant minority stake. At the time, the company operated 180 petrol stations under the MOYA brand, making it the largest independent Polish fuel retail chain, and was actively involved in wholesale fuel trading. By the end of 2020 the company’s network grew to over 300 stations, with a strong pipeline for continued expansion. Anwim has also successfully developed its non-fuel retail offering, which currently includes convenience stores and cafés at the petrol stations.
The company also successfully launched fuel import, thus reducing its dependency on local sourcing and becoming a highly competitive player on the fuel distribution market.
At the end of 2020 PEF VIII became the majority shareholder of Anwim through a follow-on transaction with the company’s founders. We continue to jointly develop Poland’s most dynamically growing fuel retail chain.
Enterprise Investors has completed buyout transactions in Kruk, AVG Technologies, PAN-PEK and Anwim, among others.
